Membership

At present, the club has the following categories of membership.

1) Corporate Membership

A company, firm or business is eligible for corporate membership .As a Corporate Member, your company would be entitled to nominate three corporate employee as a Members of the India Club, who with his spouse and children (under 21 years of age) can then enjoy the full benefits and facilities of the Club upon payment of the MONTHLY subscription of HK$400.00 per month, 3 nominees. The one-time Entrance Fee is HK$50,000 and this is fully and freely transferable to other corporate employees as frequently as desired but not exceeding once in a year.

2) Associate Membership

An individual who wishes to join in his own right can apply as a Full Associate Member, for which there is an Entrance Fee of HK$5,000.The annual subscription and rights are the same as the Corporate Member, but this membership is not transferable.

3) Absent Membership

A member (not a Nominee) leaving Hong Kong for more than 6 months but less than 12 successive months at a time may apply to become an Absent Member. Absent member will not be liable to pay subscription during the period of his/her absence. On return to Hong Kong, an Absent Member must notify the General Office and pay the annual subscription for the remaining months of the year before resuming his membership rights.

4) Visiting Membership

This is a temporary membership available for one month or three months but only once in a year. This is meant for visitors in HK who wish to use the club facilities on a temporary basis. Please contact club staff for more details.

5) Continuing membership for member’s children

On attaining the age of 12 years, children of Members (not Nominees) may, within 90 days of attaining such an age, apply to become a Member at a subsidized entrance fee. Such approval of applications is subject to membership availability. Please contact club staff for more details.

6) Continuing membership for member’s spouses

Upon the death of a Member (not a Nominee), the spouse of the deceased Member (not a Nominee) may, within 12 months' time, apply to become an Ordinary Voting Member of the Club at a subsidized fee.
